Secrets,lies,betrayal and revenge is what these characters were made of. Loyalty to self was all that mattered to them.This is Mr. Hudson's first time out and he did a very good job in the area of building a story and filling the reader in on the background of all players involved and what their futures held without slowing the story down....I liked that.
I don't know if the dropping of labels and the cost of cars,clothes,jewelry and shoes,the measurements of range tops and TVs were filler words but I found them unnecessary.Once you have establish the level of dealing a person is doing you really don't need to drop names and costs...unless you are getting paid by those names you drop.
The term 'I will get mine by any means necessary' fits this story well....The WOW! ending was a plus.
I enjoyed the way Mr. Hudson told this story and am looking forward to reading more of his work...Job well done.

I enjoyed the read; had more than a few laughs,stayed in suspense and shocked @ the end. Them Chedda Boyz ain't nothing nice! I miss Ty / and them females ain't 4 none! This New author is doing the damn thang! I look forward to reading more of his work!

I can't tell you how impressed I am with this novel. I would have never guessed that this material was written by a relatively new author. Chedda Boyz is a must-read for all true urban ficton lovers. C.J. takes us all behind the scenes of urban life and tells it's true story. He made me fall for one of the most vicious characters in the book..lol...that takes talent. Im anxiously awaiting Mo Chedda!!
CHEDDA BOYZ was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. A REAL PAGE-TURNER with BACK-STABBING, DOUBLE-CROSSING, LIES, CHEATING, REVENGE, AVENGING MURDER, MURDER, DRAMA and ACTION. I was HOOKED from the very BEGINNING, could'nt get enough. I can't wait to start reading pt.2, MO CHEDDA. C.J. HUDSON, you did your thing. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING..................................
WOW! This book is BOMB!I loved the Character CeCe the most she ain't take no mess.But I think every character brought the drama.This book depicts upon the root of all evil "MONEY". They all want it and will do what they have to do to get it. They ride for theirs. "Chedda Boyz" is a GREAT read it has all the twist and turns we so love all the hot sex and Drama with none to spare CJ definitely put in WERK with this."Mo Chedda" and "Bloody Chedda" are my next conquest most definitely. I give this book 5 Big Stars I Loved It )
So I finally sat down and read Chedda Boyz. I wish I had read it sooner! This is what street lit is about! Mr. Hudson gives it to us rough and raw. I have read some of his recent works so reading his first was very interesting. His potential as a street lit author shone like the sun in this story. His characters are so real that you feel like you're there among them. His female characters remind me of girls I once knew. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves street lit. Kudos Mr. Hudson.
Chedda Boyz was an action packed, drama filled, sexually charged and intense story. Author CJ Hudson was "no holds barred" in this book. From the shady, conniving characters to the hot, kinky and steamy sex, CJ put it down and these attributes only aided in making this a great story. The characters, Mo, Dre, Bennie and Ty were so true to life. And the women, Stacy, CeCe, Sugar and Spice were definitely nothing nice. These women didn't play around. All the characters were interesting and well developed. I loved this book. C.J. Hudson, I don't know how long you've been writing, but it seems you're already a vet...whatever you do, don't stop!
Chedda Boyz is a drug dealing clique that consists of two sisters, CeeCee and Stacey, Big Mo, Stacey's man and the leader of the pack, and cousins Ty and Dre, who happens to be CeeCee's man. Selling marijuana has been lucrative for this crew, but devastating secrets reek of the ultimate betrayals threaten to destroy the foundation of their binding relationships.
Murder, extortion, graphic sexual scenes, greed, and deceit runs rampant within the pages of this read. Great ending although I hate that there will be a sequel. Mr. Hudson penned a worthy read and with more character development and more emotional substance will prove to be a force to be reckoned with in the future. 3.88***
