Immortal Pleasures is a great quick read! You are introduced to Isabelle who lives a normal life. She lives in a small apartment, she goes to work every day and nothing exciting ever comes her way. Her normal life turns upside down when she meets tall, dark and mysterious Devon who truly knows what she is. Devon introduces her to a new level of pleasure and excitement which brings so many questions.
The only disappointment that I had was that the story ended. I have so many unanswered questions about Immortal Pleasures that I am super excited to read the second one!
Immortal Pleasures is a great blend of erotica and paranormal romance. It’s really hot and a good read that can be easily devoured in an hour or two, making it definitely a very “sexy snackâ€! Isabelle Rowan is a hard working woman with few friends who meets the handsome and enigmatic Devon at a dinner party. It is Devon who helps Isabelle awaken to her sexual power and to learn the truth about who she really is. This story is compelling and well written. The author could have made the plot and the characters very predictable and clichéd, but she didn’t. Isabelle’s character is down-to-earth and very real. Devon is interesting and mysterious and has an integrity which is attractive. I like these characters. I am looking forward to reading more about them in the next book in the series – they sizzle together!
